Privacy Policy
Effective September 28, 2026
Midnight Tape does not collect, store or share any personal information. There is no sign-up, no account and no analytics or advertising SDK.
Your music and files
Music, lyrics and playlists stay on your iPhone, inside the app’s own storage. They are never uploaded to us or to any third party.
Wi-Fi Share
When you turn on Wi-Fi Share, the app runs a small web server that is reachable only from devices on your local network. Access is protected by a password you choose; the password is stored as a salted hash in the iPhone’s Keychain. Nothing is sent to the internet. iOS may ask for Local Network permission for this feature.
Data we collect
None. We do not use tracking, cookies (other than the local sign-in cookie of the Wi-Fi Share page, which never leaves your network), crash reporters or analytics.
Children
Midnight Tape does not collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
